FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT IMAGE SIZES

IMPORTANT: We understand that image and file sizes can be confusing to most people.  To avoid any disappointment and frustration, we strongly advise you to read our image requirements below carefully. Please note that large image file size will take much longer to upload than our required maximum file size. Files outside of our requirements will be ignored/not upload correctly even though your order details may still go through.

In the case of any difficulty, please contact us immediately. We will do everything we possibly can to solve any problems if and when they occur.

 

What kind of photograph is recommended for Giggleme cartoon adventures?

The following are recommended guidelines for the photo of the person to be the star of any of the Giggleme cartoon adventures:

• A well-focused full-face shot.
• No part of the head or face is cut off by the edge of the photo.
• The face is not obstructed by any object.
• No hats or bows.
• Color photos only. (No black and white or sepia photographs please.)
• .jpg format

 

 

What is the correct size for images to be sent?

This really depends on the actual physical size of the photograph you have and the size of the person's head on that photograph. Ideally we would like to have a head shot of a person scanned from an original 10cm x 15cm print (typical horizontal postcard size) saved at 640 x 480 pixels (no larger than 1024 x 760 pixels for horizontal photo or 760 x 1024 pixels for vertical photo in size) OR from a digital image of 640 x 480 pixels (no larger than 1024 x 760 pixels for horizontal photo or 760 x 1024 pixels for vertical photo in size).

Maximum Image size: 1024 x 760 pixels horizontal photo or 760 x 1024 pixels vertical photo.
Maximum File size: 5Mb

Average 640 x 480 pixel image = 900kb (just under 1 megabytes)
Average 1024 x 760 pixel image = 2283.52kb (just under 2.23 megabytes)

Closer, sharper, in good lighting conditions and without any obstructions around the head will produce the best results. As a guide try waist level or a full head close up shot at least the size of a 10 cent piece before sending.

 

Can more than one person be featured in Giggleme cartoon adventures?

Giggleme photo-personalised cartoon adventure DVD’s have been developed and designed to be personalised for only one star.

 

What will the star be wearing in the DVD?

Some of our titles are created for both boys and girls. In those titles the star will be wearing a gender-neutral costume. In the titles created specifically for either boys or girls, the costume will be gender appropriate.

 

For what ages are Giggleme photo-personalised cartoon adventures most appropriate?

Giggleme cartoon adventures are recommended for ages 2 and up. Can I order Giggleme photo-personalised cartoon adventures for an adult? Yes! Children, adults, and even pets love to star in their own movie! We will accept orders for ages 2 to 400.

 

Can greetings be placed in the beginning of Giggleme cartoon adventures?

We do not put greetings at the beginning of the DVD.

 

How will the child's name and face be used to personalise the products?

The star’s name and face appears on the screen in the movie introduction and of course the star’s face will appear over and over throughout the dvd as the main character in all our cartoon adventures.

 

What do you do with my original image?

Any photo that was supplied by you for your order will be returned to you with your completed dvd. Any uploaded digital images sent to us for online purchases, will be deleted from our system within 60 days of when your goods were ordered.

 

How much will delivery cost?

Standard delivery is $4.95 for the first dvd. All deliveries are made via Australia Post. For each additional dvd ordered, please add $2.50 per dvd.

 

How long will it take before I receive my order?

Please allow 21 days for delivery.

 

How secure is my Credit Card payment online?

Giggleme ensures that all our customers can shop with complete confidence online. To maximise security, our website does not hold any customer's credit card details. All online credit card details are entered straight into Pay Pal Australia’s Secure Payment System which features 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, keeping security at its highest level.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept MasterCard & Visa credit card payments via Pay Pal. Direct bank deposit is also available for those who do not have a credit card.

Mail orders - Payment methods include Cheque, Money Order, Direct bank deposit and Credit card payments. We accept MasterCard & Visa credit cards which are processed via Pay Pal.

 

What will my credit card statement show?

Your statement will show your purchase as being from "Pay Pal Ustar"

 

Do the Giggleme cartoon adventures come in languages other than English?
